Hey Gang,
I’ve got a real treat for you, I recently visited the Alloway Hot Rod Shop owned by Bobby Alloway, located in Louisville, TN., just on the edge of Knoxville.  Bobby Alloway is, in my opinion, one of the greatest Hot Rod Builders ever.  He was the first to promote the Low down in the Weeds and the Shaved, Sleek look that now is pretty much the industry standard. He has always been on the cutting edge of new and revolutionary design and engineering in the hot rod industry.  He has won nearly every major award that our sport hands out, and this is no small undertaking.  His latest exclusive designs include the Speedstar line which started with the Speedstar Roadster, the Speedstar Coupe, the Speedstar Vicky and now the redesign of the Speedstar Coupe to include a full fender version. The Speedstar, designed by Alloway and built by Rats Glass set the industry on end just a few short years ago, and can be seen at any major show, in the Winners Circle.  Not only has Alloway’s design talents set him head and shoulders above the crowd, but quality of cars emerging from his shop is second to none. Now, one would think all this success would give him a big head, not so, anytime I have run into Bobby he has always taken the time to chat, and many times in the past when I’ve had problems with my own projects, Bobby has taken the time to give me advise and get my project back on track.  And it always amazes me, every time I’m in his shop, at the quality of work he and his crew does, it seems every car that comes from there raises the bar another notch. Bobby Alloway, I thank You for what you do for our Sport!  Jack!!!
