I am just bought my son, Benjamin, a car for his 13th birthday. It is a 1950 Pontiac Silver Streak 2 Door Coupe. We are in the first part of Rodding it. It had a fresh Pontiac 301 with an automatic transmission out of a Trans AM, that I talked the previous owner into parting with for a fee. Benjamin is planning on having it road ready in about 18 to 24 months. Yes, I know he won't be able to drive it yet. However, he will have all of the pride in taking it to Cruise In’s and getting asked who built it and then saying “I did”.
