My name is Brad Tilley and I am from Mechanicsville, VA. I was hoping to get my 53 Chevy 5 Window Pickup on your young rodders page. I am 29 and have been building street rods for almost 5 years now… My current truck is loaded with a mustang II front with AR Technologies bags, and control arms. The rear has a 4-link setup with bags and all as well. Big Red Valves, 2 chrome VIAIR 450 compressors feed the stainless tank. The truck sits on 18/20 Billet Specialties GTX45 wheels wrapped in Sumitomo Tires. The whole truck has been shaved and sprayed flat black while the firewall and doorjambs have been sprayed an Audi A4 blue. The motor is a SBC 350 mated with a Turbo 350 and it is dressed to impress but still be very functional. The truck also has ZOOPS tri-bar headlights, polished diamond plated floor, stainless gas tank in rear frame, a 1954 Chevy pickup bed box and much more. The interior is simple "FOR NOW". It consist of powered s10 buckets seats in gray leather, an IDIDIT steering column with shifter and billet wheel. Vintage AC/HEAT, AutoMeter white face gauges, SONY CD system and other little things here and there… I built this truck to drive and enjoy, no trophy hunting or anything like that. I like to think that I am helping to keep old school cool!!!
