My name is Anthony and I’m 17 years old I attend Prosser School of Technology and me and a buddy of mine built this car from the ground up. We built the frame and everything. We built the car in about 6 weeks. We went to the Beatersville car show and decided to build a rat rod. That Saturday we started building the car. It is a 1929 Ford Model A, we chopped the top 8 inches and sectioned it 4 inches. Street Rod Nationals was our main goal. And we made it there and it got a lot more attention then expected. We were photographed by 2 of Hot Rod Hot Line photographers and T3KY. We were the only ones from the 29 and under class to get interviewed by the NHRA film crew. We also got photographed by 3 different magazines. But we have lots of hard work and little cool things all over the car. But we were very happy with the outcome. Also our Prosser schools, principal, wants to hang up photos of the car up in the school showing everyone trying to get more kids involved into hot rodding. Not bad for six weeks worth of work though.
