This is my son's 1970 Chevelle. His name is Shane Ekberg and he is 20 yrs old and from Plainview, New York. This car has been Shane's dream car since he was 7 yrs old and he started making his dream a reality at the age of 14 when he bought the car. I have attached before and after pics so you can see what he has accomplished. The car is fathom blue with a cowl induction hood. The motor is a 350 and the tranny is a 700R4. It's got a 3.73 rear end. The interior is the factory buckets and console and the dash is from Covan's Classic with all AutoMeter gauges. Even though the car is clean and a real head turner, Shane does not believe in towing the car and drove the car to Florida for the Daytona Beach Turkey Run as soon as he was old enough to have a drivers license. He has driven the car to other car shows as well. His attitude is what is the use of owning it if you don't enjoy it by driving it......
