Where do I start? Well I'll start when I was two weeks old and started my hotrod journey. From then on I was born and raised around cars. My father who has now passed (5 years in Feb.07) had this roadster pick up just mocked up with no bed, and just parts on the garage floor. Myself and the help of my father’s wonderful hotrod friends gave me some pointers on how to build the car in the right traditional way. That's the way my father was he was a Hot Rodder for 35 years and he believed in getting in them and driving them. So that's what this is. I built this as a great memorial to my father not only a true Hot Rodder, but also my best friend and a true role model. This picture that I have included was taken on the Michigan International Speedway (M.I.S) I received one hot lap around the track for a small donation to the Hurricane Katrina fund. I have just graduated from college and look forward to making my father proud not only as a son, but a Hot Rodder as well. I look forward to building another car as well in my father's way traditional. My father left my family with a 1947 Desoto that was bought from the second owner on my Dad and Mom's anniversary 25 years ago. I figure I can show the world how much my father meant to me as well as show my mother the great human being her and my dad raised by finishing it. It would truly be great one day when I hopefully give my mom back the car as an anniversary gift from our family. Thanks again and God Bless!
