The 2007-2008 Haleyville Automotive Technology class has had the privilege of building a 1923 Ford T-Bucket. It has a 383 Windsor engine donated by Bennett Racing, as well as a transmission and overhaul kit donated by B&B Performance. In order to work on this project, you must be a 2-3 year student, maintain a 90 overall average, at least a C average in other academic courses, and better attendance is required (only 3 unexcused absences per semester are tolerated). The car made an outstanding showing at the World of Wheels this year. The car is going to be auctioned off at the 911 festival later this year. The money raised will help fund next years project, which will include building another car from the ground up. Racing to our future and... this is just the beginning!
