2009 Student Career Day
World of Wheels and Autorama started Student Educational Career Day in 2006 as a way of supporting the Schools by exposing Students to opportunities in the Industry through Guest Speakers, Vehicles, Sponsors, and Exhibitors. The students have a change for Prizes, participating in interactive exhibits and meeting Human Resource Personnel representing companies looking to hire young adults.
Hotrodhotline.com joins Autorama and World of Wheels to sponsor the Championship Auto Shows “Rising Star” awards and special Educational days for young people at Autorama and World of Wheels shows.
These awards are open to any and all entries registered to participants under the age of 25 years old. There are five awards given at each show. The awards include an Outstanding Display, an Outstanding Engine, an Outstanding Interior, Outstanding Paint and a Best Overall entry.
We are truly committed to future generations through education, and mentoring,” and “The Rising Star Awards” offers us the unique opportunity to pay tribute to these younger individuals that enjoy the Hot Rod Industry.
