DSC04170Hi I am William Gann. I am a Student at Universal Technical Institute at the Houston Campus. I am a determined person who has a knack for solving problems, finding the right equipment, and getting things done. This trait helps me a lot when it comes to my biggest hobbies; building mean street machines, and organizing groups and events. I do all the work on my car myself, whether it's performance, customizing, or just plain maintenance. As an up-and-coming automotive technician at UTI, I have access to the best knowledge available along with an ever expanding group of young car enthusiasts to pass information on to. This helps me to complete my projects and gain new insight from fellow enthusiasts.
Pandora is a 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Sport Coupe. She was originally built in January 1978 in Norwood Illinois. She came out of the factory with a 305 with 4 bbl Roch carb rated at 130 HP @ 3200 RPM and 245 foot lbs of torque at 2000 RPM. What happened between then and her coming into the possession of the previous owner is a mystery to me, however at some point during that time it appears that she had a Big Block in her judging from her more stout big block springs and non-factory GM 8.5 rear end. The previous owner bought her as a rolling chassis hoping to build a drag car, he put the 350 out of his 1972 Chevelle in her after having it rebuilt in 1998. After a few years of fun driving, Pandora ended up in his garage in 2009 until I bought her on July 9 2011. Since then I have started a project to bring a classic car back to life and into the 21st century.

Here are my plans. For now the Suspension is stock but it will be seeing an adjustable air ride system and a 4 link rear end. I plan on swapping the engine out with a more powerful 383C.I. Stroker with one of Weiand's low profile 144ci Superchargers. To feed the engine and supercharger I plan on using Professional Products Powerjection 3 Efi system. All of this, and a little NOS will bring it all together. This will all be brought together with a Custom Classic Muscle car paint job and a completely modern high tech interior
