A few months ago, we brought you the story of a devastating crash in Burbank, CA. A 1932 Ford Roadster smashed into a median and was hit by two additional vehicles (Read the original story here: https://www.hotrodhotline.com/32-ford-crash-prompts-safety-concerns). The driver was reportedly taken to the hospital after miraculously survivng the crash.
Recently, we were contacted by friends of the driver, who's name is Javier Martinez. Apparently, a wheel came of the roadster, prompting the crash which ejected Javier from the vehicle. His is now in stable condition, and on his way to recovering, but we all know how expensive hospital stays can be, and how much community and family support can mean to successful recovery. His friends have set up a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money for Javier's medical bills. Javier is a firefighter, and a trained paramedic, as well as a fellow hot rodder and enthusiast. To support him with encouraging words for his recovery or to make a donation, reaching out in the ways in which only this warm and generous hot rodding community can, go to his GoFundMe page: http://www.gofundme.com/aheronamedjavier
