Alternator brackets are designed to accept the popular G.M. alternators, both internally and externally regulated. These include the standard case size 10si, 12si and the newer small case size CS130. On 12 o’clock alternators, the center to center of the mounting holes must be 6 for use with our brackets. 10si and 12si alternators came on G.M. vehicles up thru the mid 1980’s. The CS130 alternators are available with three different mounting ear locations and came on a variety of G.M. vehicles. The alternators with the 10 o’clock mounting ear can be found on late 1980’s to early 90’s Chevrolet V-8 cars and trucks. The CS130 alternators with the 12 o’clock mounting ear can be found on 1990-93 454 big block Chevrolet trucks. The CS130 alternators with the 2 o’clock mounting ear, which is usually used on low applications where the alternator is turned upside down, can be found on late 1980’s to early 90’s G.M. V-6 engines except 4.3 liter. Alternators are available from a number of vendors in standard or one wire hook up.
