  Since this is Thanksgiving week, and we will be closed Thurs. and Friday, we will not have our usual newsletter, but we do have a few things we want to tell you..... 

  The first is that we would like to Thank all of you for being the driving force behind Hotrodhotline.com !  It’s because of you, our visitors and our friends that we have grown so much over the past 8 years... it’s hard to believe that it’s been 8 years since we started out with this wild plan to bring Rodders together on the Internet ... WOW... what a wild and crazy idea
   And that brings us to the next .... When a website’s traffic increases rapidly, the equipment (servers) tend to get bogged down a bit with all of the visitors trying to look at the same thing all at once.. .. and here at Hotrodhotline.com, we usually upgrade our equipment every year in January to keep up with our growth. This past year, our bandwidth/traffic has increased by 48% in just the past 6 months and things have been noticeably strained in the last week or so... ... so we have decided to “move up” our server upgrade date. We are having the equipment built this week and will be making the switch next week. We don’t expect any problems but if you should experience any difficulty visiting us next week please give us a call or email so we can look into it.   Once we are all set, you will notice a huge improvement in speed and deliverability. We also have some software upgrades planned which will make things nice for you and for us....

  The other thing we wanted to tell you about is a new feature here at Hotrodhotline. We know that you all have extra parts laying around the shop that you would just as soon get out of the way..... and turn into cash.... if you only had an effective and inexpensive way to do that !  Well..... enter... Hotrodhotline.com Swap Meet.... For only $25. per month you will have a “Space” where you can list up to 10 items for sale with a total of 10 pictures.  If you sell some of your items before your listing is up... you can take off the sold ones and add something else. You just place an ad the same way as a vehicle ad except that you choose “Swap Meet Space” instead of Vehicle for sale. You will have to choose one category for all your parts ... ie:  Chev Parts, Rod Parts, etc. If you would like to personalize your  “Swap Meet Space” with a picture of yourself you can add an 11th picture to the ad ... takes the mystery out of internet buying .... This is for Private Parties ONLY ... and NO VEHICLES will be allowed.  We think this is a great way to help you clear out the garage and get some $$$$ for those parts you need for your winter project. Any questions, Call us at 877-700-2468.
