We have a really UNUSUAL Request .....
As you know, we are involved with Larry Erickson of Ford Motor Co. and Dave Boulet of PCG Campbell, in the Anniversary of the Deuce celebration at the Grand National Roadster show in Jan 2007. Preparations for the display of the “Most Significant 75” 32 Fords is underway and one of those on display is the Deuce owned by Gray Baskerville, former editor of Hot Rod Magazine and certified Car Guy !

There will be a special display for Gray’s car, and in trying to come up with a display that would truly characterize the essence of Gray Baskerville, Larry and Dave had a brainstorm !  Gray Baskerville was known for many things..... only one of which was his aversion to shoes.... Gray ALWAYS wore “Flip Flops” and Larry and Dave thought that it would be cool to have the entire floor of the display area of Grays Deuce be covered with flip flops.... And where are they going to get all of these Flip Flops ?????  Well from you of course !   Summer is over and you no longer need those old Flip Flops.... so get any and all flip flops you can find, put them in a box and send to “Flip Flops” c/o  PCG Campbell 2340 Plaza Del Amo, Suite 130 Torrance, CA 90501-3452  Just think... your flip flops can be a part of this Huge Celebration....We know we can count on you... they need these ASAP !

Recently, Boze Alloys worked with the Valanca group on a ’55 Chevy project for Dale Earnhardt Jr. Boze was asked to build a unique style with special touch for this project. They decided to build the Doon style in 18x8 & 20x10 to tuck under fenders with an aggressive stance and presence. In a matter of days, the 27th National Street Rod Association® (NSRA) Street Rod Nationals North will be here... the dates are September 15, 16 & 17 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. If you would like to be a participant in this outstanding event, pre-'49 manufacture vehicles can be entered at the Clarion Hotel Kalamazoo, 3600 E. Cork Street (take Exit #80 off I-94). Registration opens at 2 p.m. Thursday and continues until 6 p.m., and is available from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday... vehicle registration will conclude as of 2 p.m. sharp on Saturday. If you plan to take in one of the area's biggest street rod shows (nearly 3,000 vehicles), all ticket sales are at the front entrances to the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds on Lake Street  NSRA-USA.com

Somernites Cruise is held on the Fourth Friday & Saturday of each month April-October, rain or shine. Cruisin Products has just released a special edition 1932 Ford frame for the upcoming 75th anniversary of the Deuce. It debuted at the Goodguys Nationals in Columbus, Ohio. Special features include, belled holes in the recessed flanged boxing plates and X member, 140 flat and round head rivets, flanged crossmembers, 360 heli-arc roset welds, interlocking gusset plates riveted in place and over 120 man hours to assemble each frame. A limited number of up to ten of these frames will be built and identified with a laser etched stainless steel I D plate.
