We are still hearing from people about the great time they had at the Grand National Roadster show and the Deuce Exhibit. Hotrodhotline.com was the only exhibitor invited by Ford Motor Company to have a presence in their 43,000 ft exhibit hall because of our involvement in the search for the Significant 75 and our help in launching the project. This year will be filled with many Celebrations of the 32 Ford across the country and we will be a part of many of them. Tickets to the March Meet are presently available online, and will be available at the gate during the event. A three-day pass is $75. Tickets for Friday are $25; Saturday and Sunday are $30 each day. Auto Club members also receive a $ 2 discount off daily admission tickets by showing their cards when they purchase tickets at the track. Daily tickets for children ages 7 to 12 are $10 and kids 6 and under are free when accompanied by an adult with paid admission. The Kern County Racing Association (KCRA) operates historic Auto Club Famoso Raceway (just north of Bakersfield, Calif.) and promotes a full schedule of races year round, including the world famous March Meet. If you thought the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, was a beehive of activity and events in 2006, just wait ’til 2007. That’s the word from Tony Thacker, the Parks Museum’s executive director who announced the overflow slate for the coming year. According to Thacker, there will be four new exhibits, educational seminars, a full season of Twilight Cruise Nights, panel discussions and two Nights of Champions. Also on tap are the two wildly successful Hot Rod Reunions (in Bakersfield, Calif. and Columbus, Ohio) which the Museum produces. In short, it’s a year long on family-fun motorsports and hot rod-related events and attractions. LOOK !
