If you thought the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, was a beehive of activity and events in 2006, just wait ’til 2007. That’s the word from Tony Thacker, the Parks Museum’s executive director who announced the overflow slate for the coming year. According to Thacker, there will be four new exhibits, educational seminars, a full season of Twilight Cruise Nights, panel discussions and two Nights of Champions. Also on tap are the two wildly successful Hot Rod Reunions (in Bakersfield, Calif. and Columbus, Ohio) which the Museum produces. In short, it’s a year long on family-fun motorsports and hot rod-related events and attractions. LOOK !

Where do I start? Well I'll start when I was two weeks old and started my hotrod journey. From then on I was born and raised around cars. My father who has now passed (5 years in Feb.07) had this roadster pick up just mocked up with no bed, and just parts on the garage floor. Myself and the help of my father’s wonderful hotrod friends gave me some pointers on how to build the car in the right traditional way.... See Mitch Keenes story here
