This bracket is designed for the Chevrolet Saginaw non-metric power steering pump with the attached reservoir. Allows clearance for the alternator belt no matter where the alternator is mounted. These pumps were used on most Chevrolet applications with short and long water pumps until the early 1980's. The 2007 event moves to historic National Trail Raceway in Columbus, Ohio, allowing more room for street rods and customs.
The honorees for the 2007 Holley NHRA National Hot Rod Reunion will be: John Abbott, Don Cain, Ted Harbit, Fred Hurst, Gary Rupp and Pat Dakin. The Justice brothers Reunion Spotlight falls on Frank Hawley. The Grand Marshal will be Jeg Coughlin.
The Reunion features a fabulous array of cool drag cars, street rods and customs of the historic and present-day hot rod eras.

Wally Parks, had a Wonderful Birthday celebration banquet at the museum to celebrate his 94th birthday.  Here's Wally with good friend Dave McClelland.  Check out the festivities with 200+ of Wallys friends. A second guest of honor was the legendary Carroll Shelby, inventor of the Cobra racing car. Wally Parks founded the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association) in 1951, in an effort to organize car clubs throughout the United States in an association that would offer alternatives to illegal street racing, then a bane of law enforcement. Shelby and Parks are long and close friends and the two of them together on the podium brought out stories of the good old days..  Click Here

In his 95 years of living, Danny made a lot of friends, and out lived 5 wives, and it was a much younger crowd that met to pay their respects to this wonderful man from the Golden age of oval track racing. Danny still has family in Santa Barbara, but he left for Los Angeles in the early 1930's to break into big time auto racing. He had raced at tracks in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties, but the action was further south. A friend of his, a supposed rum runner during Prohibition, gave him a start as a mechanic….  Read about Danny HERE...
