We don’t have the story up yet so this is just a teaser... Jack and a friend went off on a great adventure week before last and ended up at Bonneville (among other places). Bonneville was all they expected and MORE .... great cars and really nice people ... then they took off on the back roads of Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota where they ran into lots of car guys..... “Fast Six” with Kuhl and Olson....Teammates, friends, champions: that describes Mike Kuhl and Carl Olson. Together they formed the famous and formidable drag racing team of Kuhl & Olson in the '60s and '70s. The two are being honored at the Automobile Club of Southern California Hot Rod Reunion, presented by Holley, Oct. 12-14, at Auto Club Famoso Raceway near Bakersfield. Over 1,400 street rods, customs, muscle cars and street machines will be on hand at the Cal Expo Fairgrounds this fall as the National Street Rod Association® presents its 6th Annual Golden State Nationals®. The dates for the city’s largest vintage car show will be October 5, 6, 7, 2007. This will be the 6th time the NSRA Golden State Nationals® have been held in Sacramento and an all time high number of participants and spectators are expected this year. The Goodguys 15th Lone Star Nationals car show will take over Texas Motor Speedway in Ft. Worth turning the spacious Speedway into a scene from American Graffiti. Northern California based Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, producers of America’s largest hot rod festivals, have once again chosen Ft. Worth as the host city for its fifteenth edition of the Lone Star Nationals event.

September, the Somernites Cruise team will be holding its sixth fun run kicking off early Saturday morning. From Somerset we will travel to Renfro Valley to watch a live show and be entertained by
some of Kentucky's Country Music's greatest. Also we will take a tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame and there are several small shops that will be open to buy soveniers and food. After watching the live event and touring the small little village of Renfro Valley we will cruise on over to Somerset and begin the Show and Shine portion of the Cruise Day ww.SomerNitesCruise.com

The San Francisco Rod, Custom and Motorcycle show is coming up faster than we can believe ! Jack and Mary Ann flew over to San Francisco for the show last year and had a great time. They are expanding this show to include so many new things .... The Biker Build Off in the motorcycle building, A huge building for Nostalgia or “Rat” Rods was awesome ... there will be lots of news in coming weeks to tell you about all of the fabulous things the fine folks at RP Productions are planning... 	Now that our show season has slowed down a bit, Jack says that he wants to finish up his Sprint Convertible this Fall .... the one with the BBC engine in it ..... and it’s really very close so we’ll have to get out to his shop with the camera and get you some pictures soon. Jack also bought two Projects this summer and we’ll have to see which one he decides to do first. They are both very cool... One is a ‘29 Dodge Roadster that apparently had raced in California in the past, as it is set up for a Big Block and has had the suspension beefed up ... the other is a ‘29 Ford Sedan Delivery original Steel car and original sedan delivery very good metal. Both are real projects but both very cool so it’ll be a hard decision as to which one to get going first .... In the office we’re rooting for the Dodge Roadster.... it would be a very cool Nostalgia rod..... Stay Tuned for pictures of these gems soon.
