The first Prolong Twilight Cruise for 2008, sponsored by Prolong and Budweiser, was held on April 2nd. This event is held on the first Wednesday of the month, April through December at the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum, sponsored by the Auto Club of Southern California. Roger Rohrdanz and I were invited to attend a special opening exhibit honoring HOT ROD Magazine’s 60th Anniversary, prior to the opening of the first Twilight Cruise of 2008. The HOT ROD Magazine exhibit had a display of every cover of the famed magazine, from the late ‘40’s to the present day.
