The Detroit Autorama was FABULOUS !    We had a great time !   And the Ridler wasn’t the only award given out .... HotRodHotLine.com  won an  “Outstanding Commercial Display”  award, presented here by Bob “JR” and Bonnie Larivee.  We thank  Bob and the great folks at Championship Auto Shows for the great honor .... and for inviting us to their great party called Detroit Autorama... we’ll be back next year ! 

We talked “Speedy Bill” Smith into a “photo op” when he stopped by our booth. We’re proud to have Speedway Motors as one of our premium advertisers.

Hamburger's Performance Products, now offers billet aluminum coil pack brackets for LS engines (#1100). CNC machined from 1/4" thick, 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum billets in its Whittier, California plant, the brackets are then given a Red anodized finish that looks excellent. This bolt in power steering conversion kit is Fatman’s latest addition to their line of trick parts for the Fifties Fords! A special plate bolts into the stock frame, and adapts the very nice handling Delphi type power steering box to the original tie rod linkage. Welder Series ...Sway Bar Kit (anti-roll bar), rear, 36" wide, but can be cut down (with a hack saw) to any length.. The bar is ¾" diameter with one end splined ¾-36. The other end of the bar is smooth. This smooth end gets pinned and welded into a coupler which attached to one of the arms. The laser-cut, 3/8" thick arms are 8" center-to-center. Formed tabs weld to the outer tube and connect the bar to the rear crossmember using the coil-over bolts. Urethane bushings insulate road vibration. Take a  Look

Kenny Roberts Wins the 2010 Justice Brothers-Shav Glick Award.   The coveted Justice Brothers-Shav Glick award for 2010 has been won by motorcycle racing legend Kenny Roberts. Roberts was born in 1951, and took to motorcycle racing at an early age. By the early Seventies, because of his fearless racing style he was a consistent winner, and was the first American to win the 500cc Road Racing World Championship.

THE “NORMAN TIMBS SPECIAL” emerges from complete and exacting restoration to debut at the  Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance.  Automotive engineer Norman Timbs designed and constructed the Timbs Special during the years of 1947 and 1948.
