We just got our copy of the new book “DEUCE” from Rodders Journal a few weeks ago and we have to say.... It’s Fantastic ! Hotrodhotline was very involved with the Anniversary of the Deuce celebration put on by Ford Motor Co. and our friends Dave Boule and Larry Erickson, so we were so glad to see the event memorialized in such grand fashion. Steve Coonan of Rodders Journal is well know for the quality of his publications and his dedication to the preservation of our rodding history..... and this time he has really done a fine job of putting together the details of the 75 Deuces honored at the event. This is a great gift for the car guy..... so buy yourself one ! Take a look here.

We are very pleased to have the great folks from Nu Relics Power Windows onboard with us. Earl Cornelius has built Street Rods for over 40 years. During these years, he wanted power windows that were easy to install and worked properly - keeping the window level and straight as it went up and down. As a result, he developed a set of power windows for his 1940 Ford using the original manual regulator as the base for the power window. It was not long before his friends wanted these wonderful power windows for their cars too. Thus the establishment of Nu-Relics. They now have over 300 models !

Engine turned panels were all the rage in the 50’s when hot rodders who were machinists were able to produce these cool panels at work or in their home shops. This was a time consuming, tedious process and over time became lost to all but those with the patience and equipment to produce one off pieces. Now that process has come into the 21st century and we can all have this look thanks to the folks at FPM Metals.... Learn more here.
