This G.T.O. was purchased brand new in from the Pontiac dealership in Warren, Ohio in April of 1974. The original purchase price was $4,800. The vehicle was driven for one year and then raced for one year. After two years of use, it was garaged until 1990 when it underwent it's restoration. With 1974 being the final year of G.T.O. production, this particular one holds a special place as being one of the final five to come off the Yipsilanti, Michigan assembly line. The color (gulf mist aqua) as well as the other options the owner chose make it unique as the only unit ordered in it's configuration. During the 1993 G.T.O.A.A. Nationals this vehicle was taken for a drive around the famous Indianapolis Motorspeedway. Various awards and honors include two magazine covers (High Performance Pontiac Magazine in October 2004, The Legend in April 2005), the December page of the Snap-On Tools 2000 Calendar, three GTOAA National titles (1995, 2000, and 2004), and many other various show awards.
