B AND B MANUFACTURING INTRODUCES NEW ’34 HIGHBOY KIT CAR

Granby, MO – June 20, 2007 – B and B Manufacturing unveiled a Highboy version of their popular fiberglass ’34 Ford street rod kit car, at the N.S.R.A. Midwest Regional’s in Springfield, MO, over Memorial Day weekend. Like their current Coupe, the Highboy will be available as a Stage I kit for $9,995.00, Stage III roller at $19,995.00 or a Turn Key Minus version priced at $29,495.00, giving owners several options to begin building their finished product. Pricing and options match the existing build sheets for the Coupe model.

NEW! '34, Highboy

The hand laid fiberglass body is set on B and B’s custom built chassis with the classic look of an open wheel street rod. Customer reaction to the Highboy’s classic street rod look was extremely positive during the three-day event. Street rod owners and builders at the show liked the overall appearance and the Highboy’s raised rear stance, modeled after the original hot rods built in the 50’s and 60’s, which reveals the rear suspension.

The '34, 3-Window Coupe

“Offering our ’34 in both a standard 3 Window Coupe and an open wheel Highboy gives street rodders the choice of a classic car look or the more aggressive style of a hot rod” according to Bryan Anderson at B and B. “Our pricing and accessory options allows customers to start building their car at the stage they are most comfortable with, both financially and technically”.

The Highboy is built to the same high quality standards as the other B and B models using rectangular tubular construction with an X member between the frame rails. The tubular suspension components, bracing and other parts are fabricated at the Granby facility. Each vehicle comes with the doors, hood and trunk installed on the body and mounted on the chassis

B and B Manufacturing has over 20 years of experience building and selling several models of custom made fiberglass kit cars popular with automotive enthusiasts, including replicas of the 1934 3 Window Coupe, ’34 Highboy and a ’66 Roadster styled after the famous racing car. Kits are offered at various stages of completion to allow owners to customize the finished product.
