COMP Cams® has the hydraulic roller lifter solution for Ford Big Block engine fans. Compatible with both 390-428cid “FE” family engines, as well as the “FF” style 429-460cid power plants, the new Pro Magnum™ Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Lifters are truly a case of one lifter fits all. Noted by their signature COMP Cams® link bar stamped with the letters, “FF-FE,” these lifters are a simple drop-in replacement component offering increased performance, reduced friction, quiet and elimination of power-robbing “pump up” operation

Designed to perform at higher engine rpm, COMP Cams® Pro Magnum™ Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Lifters avoid the common hydraulic lifter problem where the internal piston can become improperly positioned at high rpm. When this occurs, it allows the lifter to pump up, keeping the valve open longer and reducing power that can possibly cause engine failure.
