The Goodguys 9th Spring Nationals car show will feature over 2,000 specialty cars of all years, makes and models! The event format has been changed to accommodate all of The Southeast’s car guys and gals! Hot rods, customs, classics, street rods, muscle cars, trick trucks, late models, SUV’s – you name it – if it’s American powered it’s welcome at the Goodguys 9th Spring Nationals! In addition to the massive car show, the event will include a midway full of vendor exhibits, a swap meet and cars for sale area, special vehicle display areas on Saturday, live entertainment by the “The Professionals and Rick K and the Allnighters”, an arts & crafts show, model car show, kid’s play area and more. It all equates to three full days of fun for the entire family! |

OUTDOOR CAR SHOW: Over 2,000 American powered Hot Rods, Customs, Classics, Street Machines, Muscle Cars and Trick Trucks of all years, makes & models will fill the beautiful acreage of the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. Lil’ deuce coupes, hot rod roadsters, chopped Merc customs, Hemi Cuda’s, Six Pack Challengers, Boss 429 Mustangs, Pontiac GTO’s and other specialty vehicles of all years, makes & models. The Southeast’s finest cars & trucks will be on display all three days! MANUFACTURER’S EXHIBITS: Dozens of performance automotive companies will exhibit products and hold demonstrations throughout the show. Enthusiasts will get the chance to talk directly with manufacturer representatives, purchase automotive related products at special prices and ask consumer related questions. SPECIAL PARKING AREAS: Several specially-themed parking corrals will be staged Saturday, April 21st in and around the event. The Goodguys “Pro’s Pick” area is where all the events top quality cars will congregate looking to bring home car show gold. The “Mighty Muscle” area will be home to Muscle Cars from 1955 to 1972 vintage, the “Deuces are Wild” corral will be exclusive to 1932 production model vehicles and the “Fins are Fifty” is a special corral designated to all 1957 model vehicles. Other areas will include “Ya Gotta Drive ‘em (reserved for those hearty rodders who traveled over 500 miles to the event) and the Home built Heaven corral which is the corral designated to those rodders who built their cars themselves in their own garage. The special parking areas are scheduled from 8am to 2pm on Saturday only. SPECIAL AWARDS: Over 75 special awards will be handed out during Sunday’s awards ceremony. A national finalist will be chosen for the 2007 Goodguys Truck of the Year, 2007 Muscle Car of the Year and 2007 Custom Rod of the Year. In addition – the highly sought after Goodguys “Fab 5” (the event’s top 5 cars) and PPG Dream Car will also be offered. Dozens of other special awards are also up for grabs including the “NAPA Trick Truck” award. See the winning cars up close in the winner’s circle Sunday, April 22nd from 9am to 2:00pm. The awards ceremony begins at 2:22pm SWAP MEET: Hundreds of vendors will be on hand in the swap meet selling rare and hard to find automotive equipment. The swap meet is a great place to get used or “experienced” impossible to find automotive stuff at rock bottom prices! CARS FOR SALE CORRAL: The Cars for Sale Corral is the place to find great deals on all kinds of automobiles. Hundreds of great buys will be featured in this high performance used car lot! FAMILY FUN DAY: On Sunday, April 22nd all kids 12 and under will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
