Juliano’s OEM Sound Deadener is a very dense material of 3/32” thicknesses with an adhesive backing that makes it clean to work with and very easy to use. Just lay it in place and apply pressure with a wallpaper roller as shown, and you’re done. OEM Sound Deadener is used as a base layer under your heat-blocking material (Juliano’s offers their Insultek™ for that step).
A highly effective noise barrier is created when this material is applied to the firewall, inner doors, quarters, and deck lid. It’s sold in individual 29” x 32” sheets at $20 per sheet, so you can buy only what is required for your own application. Juliano’s can advise you on what you’ll need.
