	Rick Bottom Custom Motorsports Among Those Featuring HushMat® Products in 2007 SEMA Show Builds

Lenexa, KS (September 25, 2007) HushMat® is honored to announce that their products will be featured in SEMA company project builds this year. Last year, HushMat, manufacturers of a full line of vibration damping, thermal insulation, tape and sound absorption materials for the automotive aftermarket, sponsored a number of vehicles including several from Rick Bottom of Rick Bottom Custom Motorsports. Bottom is well known as one of the top automotive customizers in the aftermarket today

“I absolutely love the HushMat products”, Bottom stated, “and wouldn't even consider building a vehicle without them. We have two projects this year featuring HushMat”, Bottom announced. “A 2008 Buick Enclave and an ’07 Toyota Tundra, both to be on display in the Eclipse Car Audio and Navigation booth—# 11326. Both of these vehicles will also be displayed at CES and NADA.”

In 1988, the foil-constrained layer damping technology was introduced and approved to the industry by General Motors Corporation and began in vehicle production the next year. Today, HushMat Ultra is the only OEM Spec approved damping material available to the automotive do-it-yourself market. A simple “peel and stick” application treats the firewall,

floor, tunnel, doors, trunk, trunk lid, quarter panels, roof and hood. The product’s unique properties allow for installation using only two basic tools—hands and scissors.

A few of the other company project builds featuring the HushMat products include, HTS Innovative Design doing a build for Lexani; Muscle Cars TV featuring a Lemans, and BEC Sound design with a 1970 Chevelle.
