ACJ SECURITY SYSTEM FROM SPAL USA OFFERS HIGH-TECH VEHICLE THEFT PROTECTION

Designed to work with commercial, personal vehicles and heavy equipment

ANKENY, Iowa - The ACJ Security System from SPAL USA protects commercial and personal vehicles as well as heavy equipment from theft via the use of leading-edge transmitter/control unit technology. "In the case of an attempted carjack, this system allows for a driver or operator to seek safety and abandon a vehicle with confidence," said Brent Clark, chief operating officer, SPAL USA. "Our ACJ system automatically disables a vehicle within two minutes. That means a thief can't get too far with the stolen property, which drastically improves the chances that a vehicle will be speedily recovered."

The SPAL USA ACJ Security System creates an electronic dialogue between the vehicle-based control unit and a personal identification transmitter. Vehicles equipped with the system can only move when this dialogue is present. If that fails, the completely-automatic system kicks in, triggering the siren and blinkers, electronically cutting the engine and rendering the vehicle immobile.

Personal Identification Transmitters used in the ACJ System are individually programmed by the vehicle's rightful owner for increased security. However, the system is designed to accept up to four different personal identification transmitters, allowing more than one person to use a vehicle.

"This ability for the ACJ to interface with four transmitters makes it an ideal theft-protection solution for commercial and heavy equipment applications in which vehicles are operated and driven by multiple individuals," said Clark.

A power door lock control feature is also part of the security system. Vehicle doors are automatically locked when the speed of the vehicle reaches 6 mph or 10 seconds after the engine has been started, and unlock only after the ignition is turned off.

SPAL USA offers two ACJ Security Systems, each incorporating the company's well-known advanced components and technology, universal design for broad fitment applicability, ease of placement in a vehicle and customizable installation.

The SPAL USA ACJ (part #34500134) comes complete with an ACJ unit, two transmitters, buzzer, hidden on/off
switch, wiring harness and all hardware.

SPAL USA's ACJ Deluxe (part #34500135) model also includes leather carrying case and belt clip for transmitters as part of the system.

Warranted against defects in material and workmanship for two years from date of sale to the original purchaser, the security systems can be purchased direct from SPAL USA at www.spalusa.com, or through an authorized SPAL USA dealer.
