	Superior Glass Works Introduces Replacement 1947 – 1954 Chevy Pick-Up Truck Brackets

Molalla, Oregon – August 21, 2007 – To complement the fiberglass parts and the complete chassis they produce, Superior Glass Works today announced the introduction of replacement 1947 – 1954 Advance Design Chevrolet pick-up truck brackets. The new offerings include front cab brackets, running board brackets and a rear cab shackle kit. All work with stock and aftermarket chassis and body panels, though some drilling and modification may be required for installation on stock frames. The new brackets are manufactured from mild steel and available as individual pieces or in sets exclusively from Superior Glass Works and its network of dealers.


	Brad Peterson, owner of Superior Glass Works, spoke about the introduction saying, “We saw the need for these truck brackets because buyers of our ’47-’54 chassis and fiberglass body parts couldn’t find or didn’t want to use worn and rusty original parts. Our designers have created simple, elegant and fully-functional replacements worthy of show-quality trucks.”

FRONT CAB BRACKETS
The front passenger-side cab mount is a near-perfect reproduction of the original and the driver-side mount mirrors this to achieve a symmetrical appearance (unlike the stock “backwards” bracket). Each cab bracket is $70.

REAR CAB SHACKLE KIT
The kit includes the frame mount, the cab mount and the shackle that joins the two. Both mounts incorporate a suspension-grade bushing that’s pressed in and will never wear out. A set of two is available for $91.

RUNNING BOARD BRACKETS
Three are needed per side as each is a different length and angle to account for the taper of the frame. The running board brackets are sold for $91 each or $535 for the complete set of six.
