Sal's '72 Camaro was purchased in January 2007 from the second owner who did a ground up rebuild in 2006. Underneath is restored to factory condition with extra chrome plating and powder coating on all parts. The engine compartment has been totally redone and chromed. The original 350 engine was bored thirty degrees over and beefed up to 400 horsepower. When Sal purchased this Chevrolet in 2007 it was again stripped down to bare metal and given a customized paint job during a four-month period. 1972 was a limited production year for Camaros due to a factory strike. Having been recently restored this Camaro has yet to compete for any awards.
