Gale Banks Engineering Exhibit Opens on
Final Prolong® Twilight Cruise with Annual Toy Drive
at Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum

POMONA, Calif... It’s a hot-rod wonderland as the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum decks the Museum halls with hot rods and customs, a toy drive and unveils BANKS POWER: THE FIRST 50 YEARS exhibit, designer of some of the world’s fastest racing machines. Festivities include the final Prolong® Twilight Cruise Night and annual Toy Drive, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Bring an unwrapped gift to the event, which benefits Inter-City Volunteers, a non-profit charity group in Pomona. Show cars will be selected by guest judges for the Budweiser Celebrity Picks Awards. Banks Power: The First 50 Years exhibit will open at 3 p.m. Exhibit will run through September 2009

Admission to the new Banks Exhibit, Cruise and Museum are free of charge.
 
The event will feature:
·     Hundreds of classic rods, all eligible for the Budweiser Celebrity Picks Awards
·     Raffle prizes and a huge 50/50 drawing
·     Food and beverages available for purchase
·     A number of Banks’ record-setting racing machines and engines will be on display in the Museum including the world’s first diesel road racing pickup GMC Sierra
 
It’s an evening of family fun and a chance to see some of the coolest cars in Southern California. All proceeds go to support the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum.
