We have an exciting announcement about a partnership between HotRodHotline.com and ISCA and Championship Auto Shows...... 

Hotrodhotline.com joins Autorama and World of Wheels to sponsor the Championship Auto Shows “Rising Star” awards and special Educational days for young people at Autorama and World of Wheels shows.

These awards are open to any and all entries registered to participants under the age of 25 years old. There are five awards given at each show. The awards include an Outstanding Display, an Outstanding Engine, an Outstanding Interior, Outstanding Paint and a Best Overall entry.

CASI believes this program along with the Student Career Day is a great way to keep young people involved in the hobby of hot rodding. Look to HotRodHotLine’s web site in the Young Riders section during the 2009 season as recipients of these awards will be posted throughout the show season.

Jack and Maryann Lawford, owners of Hotrodhotline.com, met with Bob Millard of ISCA and Bob Larivee, Jr. and Dale Minnix of Autorama and World of Wheels shows....at SEMA and agreed to partner on this great idea, Annual Educational Days/Rising Star Awards, to encourage young people to be involved in our hobby.

 World of Wheels and Autorama are committed to the future by holding these annual Educational Days where students and instructors enjoy the aftermarket hot rod industry. The events feature guest speakers who share their passion of the industry.

Following the reception, students hit the floors of the show to see vehicles, sponsors and exhibitors. They have the opportunity to register for prizes, participate in interactive exhibits and even meet with Human Resource people representing companies looking to hire young men and women.
