Molalla, Oregon – April 17, 2008 –Superior Glass Works today announced the introduction of a new sloped nose fiberglass front-end for 1937-’38 Chevrolet cars. The one-piece hood is pie-cut about one and a half inches at the front for a subtle, yet dramatic appearance. To further streamline “the look”, the upper grill trim has been integrated into the nose of the hood, though the hood sides and bodylines remain stock. The $1338 package, which includes the nose, a shortened grill shell and a polished stainless grill, is available for delivery direct from Superior Glass Works or one of its 30 North American dealers. A plain grill package is also available.
Superior Glass Works currently manufactures all of the reproduction pieces needed to re-build the front-end of a ’37 or ’38 Chevy, or to switch from one year to the other. One-piece hoods, hood sides and grill shells are also available for both years. Additionally, the stock 1937 hood is offered with the same integrated upper grill trim as the sloped nose offering.
