We've Reintroduced Our Universal Sway Bar.

ws22700-3_(WinCE)

Instead of having to determine the bar length for your application, we've made it one step easier: you don't even have to get out your measuring stick before you order. With one part number, you'll be able to reduce the sway in anything from a pro street Nova to an F100 pickup truck. This is also great for builders who want to keep a sway bar in stock that will fit pretty well anything that comes in to the shop.

What's the deal? Well, we've cut every bar 36" long and only splined one end. The other end of the bar gets trimmed to the exact length you need.
On the left, the smooth bore coupler goes over the end of the bar that gets trimmed to length. The hole in the coupler wall is a pilot hole so you can drill right through the bar. Drive the double wall split pin into the hole, then weld around the end of the bar for more strength. It's a good idea to recess the bar in the coupler about 3/16" for weld area. After you've welded the coupler to the bar, go ahead and weld the bar to the arm.

On the right is the splined coupler that mates with the splined end of the bar. Weld the coupler to the arm, minding that you've got both arms parallel.
Like our previous kits, the sway bar is isolated with urethane bushings inside the outer tube which is fixed to the coilover bolts. We do still have fixed length kits here, but they are first come, first serve in terms of availability.
