New Universal-er Rear Sway Bar

2

Well folks, if you thought our first sway bar was pretty universal (and it was, though it had nothing to do with the actual universe), you're going to have to hang in there to see how we've made it possible to order a sway bar kit without actually measuring anything before you pick up the phone.

Here's how it works: instead of producing the latest batch of bars in 2" increments, splined 1" each end, we've cut every bar 36" long and only splined them on one end. The un-splined end is where the magic happens. That's the end you trim to the exact dimension you need it! The new kits also come with two couplers - one splined coupler and one smooth bore coupler. The smooth coupler works with the magic end of the bar so that after you trim it to length, just slip the coupler over the end, drill through the pilot hole, drive the included split pin into place, then weld it if you're the type of person to wear a belt and suspenders. Otherwise, the kit hasn't changed a bit. It still attaches to the coilover mounting holes, the arms still attach (via spherical rod ends) to little tabs you weld to the rear end, and it still costs only $250: a small price to pay for a big bit of universal-ism.
