Welder Series DIY multi-angle adjuster

Pick An Angle, Any Angle
Here's a quick how-to for making your own multi angle adjusters using some of our parts and some clevises. These are great for things like diagonal locators, and other places where you can't measure and notch an angle in the end of a tube. The tube can pivot on the bolt holding the clevis to the bushing eye. Using a front U bolt clamp plate, trim the tabs off and weld them to a urethane bushing eye. Go to www.mcmaster.com and enter part number 4749T191. When it's all said and done, you'll have some slick multi angle adjusters you made yourself for about $26/ea. Less if you factor in the exchange rate. Here's a video I made which shows the process:

Now that the exchange rate is so good for our US customers, this could be a great time to think about a gift certificate. To get $200 worth of Welder Series parts, you'll only pay about U$160! Of course, this is subject to change with the exchange rate. Here's a good site to keep track of it: www.xe.com
