Turnkey Street Rods

While hundreds of '28 to '37 Fords have been built in the Davviki shop over the past 20 years, construction projects are not confined to old Fords. Currently under construction are Willys roadsters, convertibles & coupes, '53-'61 Corvettes utilizing late Vette suspensions & drive train, '39 Lincoln Zephyr fastbacks (a phantom body style originated by Davviki), dimensionally correct Model J Duesenberg replicas, mid-engine exotics of many different body styles.

A torsionally rigid chassis is the basis for any Davviki car. Body materials change as the customers desires & budget dictate, while fiberglass reinforced with hardwood & steel is most common, aluminum or steel is sometimes the material of choice. There are always numerous cars under construction. For the individual wishing to commission a turnkey car, those listed here are available.

All fiberglass parts are hand rolled in isotalic resins. Glass material is a combination of chopped glass, matte, unchopped roving and unidirectional weave. While many debate the different techniques of lay-up as being “the best”, we have found that only a combination of all the lay-up methods produce a superior quality “street use” car body.

New For 2009

Davviki introduces for 2009 the '33-'34 five-window body style. Using the same steel with hardwood structure proven in their '32 five window, the new model has had great acceptance from traditional rod builders. Davviki offers 11 different body styles. Each package is built to customer specifications. Choices include hidden or exposed hinges, smooth or exterior door handles, stock or channeled floor with a wide variety of suspension and drivetrain options. The limited chop (1.5 inches) offers greater interior room than any similar car in the market place. Bodies are built from 150 resins, reinforced with steel and ash hardwood. To ensure a superb door fit, each body is assembled on the chassis it delivers with. Chassis are built with stamped rails using a torsionally rigid design developed over 24 years in business.
