ANKENY, Iowa – SPAL USA introduces the new SBL300 – a completely sealed brushless motor available in both axial and centrifugal blower configurations to suit a variety of air movement needs.
The SBL300 features IP68-certified waterproof construction, integrated power and signal electronics, a low-inertia inner rotor, reduced axial dimensions, low weight, high efficiency, low noise and excellent resistance to vibration and harshness (NVH) levels. SPAL’s new motor also incorporates “smart soft start” (reduced inrush while still protecting from stalled/stuck fans) and is fully customizable for OEM programs.
In addition, the brushless design reduces the number of wear components over brushed technology to deliver extremely long-lasting motor life as well as provide automatic power de-rating to guarantee performance in over-temperature operating conditions.
SPAL USA’s SBL300 is specifically designed for applications where low power consumption, fuel economy, low weight, advanced electronic control and high efficiency are key requirements.
