“Big Al” was involved in Funny Cars from the early 70’s to the late 90's and is looking forward to returning. According to Bobby Frey “Al brings with him a wealth of knowledge that will prove to be extremely beneficial both on/off track in the coming season.”
The long awaited debut of the Frantic Ford AA/Fuel Coupe Nostalgia Funny Car is right around the corner. Car should be ready for active competition up and down the eastern seaboard this coming May-June 2010. Current plans call for Team Frantic to be appearing at tracks primarily on the East Coast with possible dates in the Midwest if additional funding becomes available.
The new Mustang II will carry the same paint scheme that took the Frantic Ford to many victories back in the mid 1970's with the late, great Dodger Glenn at the controls. Paint on the new car will be applied once again by the legendary Bob Gerdes of Circus Custom Paint. Lettering on the car will be handled by the talented brush strokes of Glen, another renowned east coast legend.
The recreation of the Frantic Ford is dedicated to the memory of the late Paul R.(Dodger) Glenn
