6-7/16” and 9” Round Air Cleaners

O’Brien Truckers’ line of nostalgic cast aluminum air cleaners now includes the round finned style you see here, in 9”, and 6-7/16" diameters.  These are very reminiscent of the old Cal Custom-style air cleaners from the 50’s and 60's, except with heavier, more traditional fins, which you can paint as shown (shipped unpainted).
The 9" comes with a cast aluminum base.  Both are for 4-barrel applications with a 5 1/8" opening.
The 6 7/16" smallest size in the foreground is especially versatile, can be ordered with your choice of no less than 5 different cast aluminum (not plastic) bases.  It can accommodate a 2-5/16" diameter 1-bbl, 2-5/8" and 3-1/8" 2-bbl, and 4-7/32” and 5-1/8" 4-bbl carburetor necks. 
Because it’s one of the smallest 4-barrel air cleaners to be found anywhere, it provides added clearance for extra-tight dual quad applications.  All three of these air cleaners come with washable cotton gauze “lifetime” filters.

Air Cleaner 9” Round

Here you have a beautiful 9" round air cleaner patterned after the famous Cal Custom one of the 1960's. The difference is that this one has fins designed to match your finned valve covers and comes with a cotton gauze washable lifetime 2" tall element. The cast aluminum base is made to fit all modern four barrel carbs with a 5 1/8" neck. 9 1/8" R x 3 1/4" T

Air Cleaner 6-7/16” Round Finned

6 7/16" Round Finned Air Cleaner comes with a cotton gauze washable lifetime element with subtle black rust free wire covering. There are two 6 3/8" OD elements to choose from, either 1 3/4" or 2 1/2" tall. In addition, the custom cast aluminum 6 7/16" OD base is available with carb neck openings for 2 5/16" 1 BBL carbs, 2 5/8" or 3 1/8" 2 BBL carbs or 4 7/32" or 5 1/8" 4 BBL carbs. Each air cleaner comes with one polished cover, one element and one base. Call us for discount price when ordering two air cleaners at one time. We are the founders of O’Brien Truckers which we started in 1978 by offering the “No Club Lone Wolf” car club plaque which led to custom made plaques, belt buckles and finned aluminum engine accessories and hot rod parts.
