1932 Ford Roadster Windshield
Solid Bronze two piece casting suitable for bead blasting, powder coating or chrome plating.
Designed to fit the factory and Brookville cowls and slight grinding will allow it to fit other Deuce cowls - both steel and fiberglass. Due to the variations in cowls and the possible need to do some fitting, we do not sell the windshields polished or chromed.
The windshield uses flat safety glass which we do not supply.
10-32 screws hold the top of the frame to the bottom. The glass sets in the ~1/4" groove made when cast and once it is glued in so to speak the rigidity is provided by the completed assembly. The top (BopTop sold separately thru Sid Chavers) has an oak header which has a groove for the windshield frame - it nests over the top of the frame nice and snug. The groove in the oak is lined with felt to provide a no-scratch surface. Two - 1/4-20 screws attach the top frame & header to the top of the windshield frame.
Designed to cover and attach thru the stock stanchion mounting holes and can be used with the stock cowl vent.
