Attached are photos of my rare 1969 Buick GS Stage 1 Convertible (400ci with 4-speed Muncie ).
In 1969 only 77 Stage 1 Convertibles were delivered with a Muncie 4-speed. The GS Club of America believes there are very few of these left on the road. The original Invoice, Protect-O-Plate, and Owners Manual are still with the car.
The car was purchased in Shelbina, Missouri. The owner relocated to New York where he raced this car (as the "Missouri Shaker" ) at famous east coast race tracks, including: Utica, Island Raceway, Lebanon Valley, Dover, etc. I have endeavored to retain the 'track decals' which are still on the right rear quarter window after 43 years.
While Buick's 1970 GS Stage 1, and the more famous GSX, are the holy grail of Buick muscle cars... fewer of the 1969 models remain, which makes this a very rare automobile and one I am fortunate to own. It is a pleasure to share it with those who appreciate the great muscle cars of the 60's.
