2020 Holley National Hot Rod Reunion Cancelled

The Wally Parks NHRA museum recently made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Holley National Hot Rod Reunion scheduled to be held in Bowling Green, KY on August 20-22, 2020.

The cancellation is a result of the increasing rise of COVID-19 cases in the region, and is in line with the slew of event cancellations that the industry has seen since states began shutting down earlier in the year.  Despite states slowly re-opening, all event promoters need to guarantee that attendees and participants can stay safe.

“We made this difficult decision as we see the effects this pandemic is having on our country, fans, sponsors, and racers,” said museum executive director Martin Betz. “We believe this is the right decision given the escalation of COVID-19 cases in the state of Kentucky and the restrictions implemented by the state and Warren County.

The drag racing event had already been rescheduled from it's original June date because of the closures.  It will, hopefully, run again in 2021.
