We know the past several days have been trying and our thoughts are with you, your club members, and their families in the aftermath of the hurricane. We are dedicated to helping Hurricane Sandy’s victims (many of whom live in our home state) any way we can. Our headquarters (496 Kings Hwy. North, Cherry Hill, NJ) will now serve as a “drop off” point for supplies for Hurricane Sandy victims. We’ve already taken 2 large carloads to the Fountain of Life Church in Burlington, NJ that is housing 150 homeless victims and 30 animals of the storm some willl not be able to get back in their homes for 6-8 MONTHS!
The shelter has asked our help to gather the following personal care items:
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Diapers (all sizes, but especially larger infant & toddler)
- Pull-ups
- Wipes
- Soap
- Baby wash
- A&D ointment
- Brushes/combs
- Toothbrushes/toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Flip flops
- Antibacterial wipes
- Socks
- Underwear
- T-shirts
- Feminine products
- Tissues
- Adult diapers
- Toilet paper
This same shelter also needs CVS gift cards, pre-paid phone cards, and VISA gift cards. The pet friendly section needs bleach, hand sanitizer, disposable gloves, blankets/towels, disposable bowls for feeding, etc. We’re diligently working to gather these items. Any help/donations you could spare and deliver in boxes would be GREATLY appreciated. Drop off hours are 8:30am-4:30pm M-F. If you have any questions please contact Laura Packard at: (856) 382-3207.
To raise money and awareness for those impacted by Hurricane Sandy, we hosted an employee pajama day and encouraged donations from everyone in the office. Here are just a few of the many people who donated today.
We love to call our team...members "superheroes" and their efforts will help support the NJ Relief Fund. American Collectors will also be matching the generous contribution of the team. For more information on how you can help, visit www.SandyNJReliefFund.org.
