Dear Policyholder:
Where did classic car lovers from across the country decide to send the American Detours film crew?
Last week’s votes have been tallied, and the winning road for Round One is Route 39 through the Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. We can’t wait to drive 100 miles of wicked curves and beautiful highlands!
Voting is now open for Round Two. You have seven more chances to win $100 and six amazing roads from which to choose! To see the roads and cast your vote, CLICK HERE.
Each episode of American Detours pairs a different route with an amazing vehicle (or two). People who love driving classic cars - or just riding shotgun in them - will enjoy the show’s insights, driving tips and car talk.
Here's some more information about the video series, including the voting link: www.AmericanCollectors.com/AmericanDetours.
We also have a Facebook page established for voting here: http://www.facebook.com/americancollectors/app_126231547426086
Filming on our first route in Brandywine Valley, PA begins this week (we’re taking a beautiful 1968 Shelby GT350 and 1970 Chevy Nova on the trip) but we need votes to tell us where to go next, including input on what "can't miss" pit stops we should make (anyone interested can post these suggestions on our Facebook wall at http://www.facebook.com/americancollectors)
The Round 2 contenders are:
- Bonneville from Orem, Utah
- Wichita Mountains, Oklahoma
- Neah Bay, Washington
- Las Vegas Area (Mt. Charleston to the Vegas Strip)
- Creole Trail, from Louisiana’s Lake Charles to Texas
- Housatonic River Run, Connecticut
Stay tuned for more news as we enter production of the first season of American Detours!
Sincerely,
