Classic Instruments assists BCPD with purchase of specialty bike!
Classic Instruments is pleased to announce the successful completion of our July 2012 NSRA Appreciation Day fund raiser to benefit the Boyne City Police Department. Held at Classic Instruments in Boyne City, Michigan, the event raised over $1300 to benefit the Boyne City Bike Patrol. The money raised at this event was used to purchase the department’s new, fully equipped, officer patrol bicycle and the specialized training necessary for it’s use. Funds were raised through direct donations as well as a raffle featuring some great hot rod and automotive related items. Manufacturers that donated to the event included Vintage Air, Ride Tech, Mac’s Straps, Steele Rubber, Danny’s Hot Rod Shop, Parr Automotive, Alloways Hot Rod Shop, Greening Auto Company, Rad Rides by Troy, George Poteet and the Blow Fish Team, Advanced Plating, Lane Automotive, American Autowire, Street Rods by Michael, Old Dog Street Rods, The Ringbrothers, Ron Francis Wiring, Lokar, Boyne Mountain, Street Rodder Magazine, GoodGuys, Industrial Magnetics, NPD, Painless and Ididit, Ace Hardware, Bowler, Carquest, Main Street Custom Finishing, Suspension Online and more!
Classic Instruments has already begun planning the 2013 NSRA appreciation day event which is scheduled for Saturday, August 10th, 2013. Once again this event will benefit the Boyne City Police Department with funds raised going toward the purchase of another fully outfitted police bicycle and necessary training for a new officer.
