Classic Instruments is proud to announce sponsorship of the 2013 Junior Dragster Series at the Mid Michigan Motorplex
Among the countless categories and events at the Mid Michigan Motorplex stands one that Classic Instruments feels deserves special attention. The Junior Dragster Series features youth in 3 age categories who are all excited to race on a professional track. The Compulink timing system used at the facility is able to give incredibly accurate times at 5 different locations throughout the track and ensure the fans become increasingly excited as the race progresses.
Classic Instruments is dedicated to continuing the excitement by creating passion, interest and enthusiasm for young people in the racing and automotive industry. Competition and involvement with the Junior Dragsters helps the youth build vital life skills including focus, dedication, and sportsmanship. In addition to sponsorship of the entire event, Classic Instruments also has the privilege of sponsoring seven different youth drivers. Among them is track Hunter Acha who was track champion of the 10-12 age division in 2011 and won first place in the 13-17 age division on September 3rd 2012.
Classic Instruments hopes this sponsorship of the Junior Dragster Series will inspire a new generation of youth to realize their passion and the potential of the racing and automotive industry when choosing a career path. Individuals like custom hot rod builder Jesse Greening, owner of Greening Auto Company, photojournalist Kelly Wade, owner of WinLight Communications, Pat Topolinski, engine builder and clutch management division for KB Racing (Summit's Pro Stock Cars) as well as professional race car driver Jason Line who drives the Summit Racing Chevrolet Camaro Pro Stock car in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series. These individuals have all realized diverse, viable, and successful careers in the auto industry.
