1939 Ford Standard. My first street rod project, it was a rust bucket when I got it. After tossing the fenders, running boards, hood and trunk lid and removing the lower 4" of the body, it wasn't rusty any more. It is slant chopped, shaved, front fenders molded to running boards, hood pie cut and rolled forward, sectioned hood sides re-shaped rear deck lid, re-shaped front fenders, 355 c.i., 350 trans 12 bolt rear. Most all work except paint, glass and upholstery was done in my garage by myself and a friend. It took eight years. Drives great, looks good, well worth the effort.
