I recently completed my latest project, a 1947 Lincoln Zephyr Convertible. This seems to be a very rare piece with just several hundred built and only a handful left. I have been in "Rodding" for over 25 years and this is the only one I have ever seen in person.
The car features a Chevy 454 with 700 R4 and 9" Ford rear end. Front suspension is early GM rear steer front clip with dropped spindles. The interior is all leather by Paul Atkins. It features a narrowed 59 Impala Dash with Haneline gages and hand built console by owner. The car has all the usual power accessories: windows, doors, top and seats along with power steering and brakes. Wheels are "Budnik" as is the steering wheel. Top bows were modified to enhance the cars profile.
