"Cars in Barns", Field cars and other "Treasure". Linnie Carew found some beauties in Flynn's Wrecking Yard in Australia April 2007.
After attending the Australian Street Rod Nationals on the Easter Weekend we called in to Flynn's Wrecking Yard at Cooma and were blown away by the amount of cars waiting to be "picked up" by someone who could see the Hot Rod potential in what looked like to some, nothing but a piece of rusty junk.
What a collection he has, we spent 3 hours rummaging around in this graveyard for unwanted cars. The earliest was about 1928 and consisted of Ford, Chevy, Plymouth, etc, etc, etc; you name it, it was there. This is only half the photos that we took and David & Stephen were like kids in a lolly shop. Every car was catalogued by the owner with the make & model written on most of them, which was very handy. If you are ever in the Cooma area call in and check it out for yourself, you won't be sorry!
