FOUND!
Fortunately the car was found last night. They were towing it with a tow rope and when they hit a bump the rope snapped. They then tried to hotwire it but were unsuccessful. There is minor damage, but we are just happy to have our car back. They also found a wallet in the car that must have fallen out of the thief's pocket, so things are looking promising in catching the guys.
We had such a great response from everyone and so many people were looking out for the car that we were able to find it before they came back. Thanks so much for your concern, we really appreciate it.

Have you Seen This Car!
This car was stolen in Denver, Colorado Yesterday, Dec. 11, 2008. The car was taken in the middle of the afternoon from my garage. This car was very special. It was originally my fathers and I worked several years on restoring it .
The car is described as a 1963 Chevy Impala. It is navy blue with gray tweed interior. A 409 is embroidered on each of the front seats and it has the original 409 engine but it was painted to match the car.
As “Car Guys” we need to all band together and find these perpetrators and bring them to justice. We all love this hobby and now is the time to stand as one and show these thieves we are not going to tolerate this nonsense any longer.
If you have any information or have seen this car, you may contact us at the phone number or E-mail addresse listed below, or contact your local Police Department.
